High Street Hijab Picks

You can find some beautiful hijabs in regular high street stores - here are my favourite picks for this season. Where do you like to shop for scarves from?

High Street Hijab Picks
Black woven paisley scarf £15, Dorothy Perkins; Floral shot lurex stole £22, Accessorize; Purple jacquard border stole £20, Debenhams; pink scarf £9.99, H&M.

I get mine on E-bay. Vintage: a couple of lace scarves, a few burnt velvet, one with beadwork... and a bunch of Indian wedding chunnis. The basic look is one of the above layered over a two-piece amira (also bought on E-bay).

Stores like Marshalls, Fileen's Basement often have silk scarves. I saw a Bvlgari silk scarf at the Basement just last night....but it was 99 bucks. *shrug* it can be the star of my scarves collection one day.
I did have a friend bring an Armine scarf from Turkey and you can see it in my blog =)

I found some cool square scarves at Target the other day. Converse One Star Knit Scarf. It's large so the coverage is amazing! The fringe on the edges adds a nice touch when you wear it as a square hijab.

Check out this item.
It's a neck warmer! I don't know about the rest of you but my eyes went wide when I saw this! I instantly thought of a perfect way to turn high cut tops into turtle necks and imagined it would be perfect for Muslimahs who prefer to wear turban style hijab.

I usually buy from ebay. we have indian-pakistani market in Moscow, but I really don't like to go there, because males there too "friendly" lol.
