Smart Style

I hope you all had a wonderful Eid, Hijab Style posts will now go back to normal!

Today's outfit set is ideal for the office, as inspired by the Ralph Lauren Fall '09 collection. I love the military style of this navy coat, which I've paired with a contrasting soft, silky shirtdress and smart tailored trousers. I'd also keep to neutral tones throughout and for a hijab, I'd go for something like this cream pashmina.

Smart Style
Navy military swing coat £85, Dorothy Perkins; shirt dress £49, La Redoute; premium wool wide leg trousers £40, Topshop; Kilve Double boot £69.99, Clarks; Jeans bag £35, Aldo; pearl and filigree rope £15, Dorothy Perkins.

This is great :) My school have recently banned us from wearing skirts to work so I'm going to go shopping for some more wide leg trousers and long tops this week. I like this style :)

Yes I would definitely wear this for work! It is elegant and classic. I might liven it up a bit though with a different color hijab. Not bright, but maybe a bit more colorful.

I love the outfit, it's smart-casual and very wearable, but could someone please tell me, once and for all, are military jackets hijab? Because many don't cover your "derriƩre" shall we say... so what I'm asking is, do they count?
Thanks in advance and to Jana as always, x

hey, nice blog love the outfit, but you seem to have forgotten one important thing... the HIJAB itself,,lol i like the outfit anyway. And i was just wondering most of the pre-med students i know dont have time to scratch their heads as the say, how are you able to get this blog running with all the events you do( interviews and all those entertaining things) and still have time to pass med school. Wow smallah you must be really smart lol !
and for the above statement militay are fine, when they cover your butt and more. like the one jana has posted it really nice and modest. so it doesnt matter what style as long as its covering. Hope that helped. long comment i should go byee.:D
