Baraka Relaunch

Baraka is a modest clothing brand from Australia launched in 2008. I blogged briefly about the company back in January here, and since then, the team have revamped the website, taking into consideration customer feedback. I particularly like the new 'lookbook' which shows different ways of styling baraka garments.

What's more, baraka are offering Hijab Style readers 15% off their order with the code HS001, to celebrate the launch of their new e-boutique!

Very nice--love the way the hijab is wrapped! For clothes that last forever go to Shukr.com ! The maybe a little 'pricey' for some, but well worth it. I'm an avid fan of their clothing, since i reverted to Islam in Oct 08, masha Allah, i've gradually replaced my entire wardrobe with their lovely line of clothes for every occasion--along with some odds and ends from other sources. My sons-- who purchase their clothes from Shukr also are still wearing the thaubs they bought 7 years ago...they still look like new, after all these washings -- wearing them to work etc. LOL! I"m not a salesperson for Shukr, just a happy customer.

No way! Just did a story about them! BTW, love those long black dresses. So, you're a med student right? What's good with your stethoscope and your hijab? Is it a friendly relationship? My sister has trouble sometimes with the off and on, and has been trying to find the perfect way for the two to live in harmony. She told me to do a Style 101 about it on my fashion column, and I was like, no way, dude. You figure it out, and then you guest post:) But then, since I'm such a wonderful little sister, I thought I'd ask you:)
