Style Inspiration: Queen Rania

Queen Rania of Jordan is an accomplished and active royal who puts a lot of effort into social, educational and humanitarian projects. You can check out her website to find out about her work. This post is focussed on her sense of style which blends elegance and simplicity with modesty for all occasions, and provides great ideas for all Muslimahs.

Here she wears long, flowing evening gowns and maxi skirts to various events:

Photoshoot for Harper's Bazaar March 2008:

This dress by Givenchy Couture Spring 2004 is quite revealing around the top half, so Queen Rania adapted it by adding a simple white blouse for a more modest outfit:

Yes she has great taste of clothing. But is is missing khimar and her arms are not covered. With a women with her great status she is a role model for many muslimah's out there.I just think that she should be mindful of that. And may Allah bestow it upon her heart to start wearing and khimar and cover her arms up.Amin
    She looks very classy.Masha Allah

  22. I personally think Queen Rania is a lovely woman regardless of her wearing the hijab or not. I am a muslimah who wears hijab. i still respect Queen Rania because at least she chooses not to wear hijab at her own free will. I don't like people treating hijab as a fashion accessory. If people want to wear hijab it should be respected. at least she made her decision not to play around with it. she's a great fashoinista though!
