Fashion Matters @ The V&A

I was recently given a very exciting opportunity to be part of a panel in one of a series of discussions called Fashion Matters at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. The event is incredibly popular and it would be brilliant if Hijab Style readers would attend. It would also be a great chance to meet up afterwards. Tickets sell out very quickly, so be sure to buy yours soon if you are attending. Here's the info:

Fashion Matters: Fashion and the Internet
Friday 20th March 19.00-20.30

The V&A and the London College of Fashion jointly present an event exploring how the Internet has transformed the experience of fashion for designers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. Fashion forecasters from WGSN join Dolly Jones from, fashion blogger Jana Kossaibati from, and academic Prof. Louise Crewe, to discuss with LCF Professor Reina Lewis how the internet has facilitated different relationships to style and fashion for consumers.

Tickets are £8/6 and can be purchased here or by phone on 020 7942 2211

Masha Allah, this is good news...wish I could attend, but i live in the a city where everyday is a challenge to wear hijab, as in some other countries as well.
All the best to you Jana. Have a great time at this event. Insha Allah, may the Muslimahs who view this site attend if they can. Hijab needs to be represented!

I was in the audience for this and just want to say how wonderful Jana was. Fascinating to hear her views on fashion, the hijab, the power of blogs vs mainstream media etc. Great gig!
