Layer Up

If there's one thing I love about cold weather, it's being able to layer clothes comfortably. And conveniently enough, it's also the best way of keeping warm! A long sleeved black tunic can be layered in many ways. This time, try a short sleeved knit or jacket and jeans for a casual look when you're on the move. Add leather gloves, chunky-heeled boots and a cross-body bag for warmth, style and practicality respectively. But don't just stop there! Try leg-warmers, leggings, and a coloured pashmina round your neck to keep extra toasty:

Ruth ruffle shirt £29.35, Long Tall Sally; chunky knit roll neck cardi £35; mid wash mooch jean £40, both Topshop; georgette hijab £5.99, The Hijab Shop; tan studded cuff gloves £25.20, Debenhams; Serenda ankle boots £50, Faith; grey patent across body bag £29, Debenhams.

Oh yes, it is the season of layering. I a from Canada and we already got our first snowstorms. Today I even layered scarves : one hijab scarf + one winter scarf, one as women here we have the tradition to wear!! By the way, I love the boots. I wish we could dress as delicate even in winter time. May God protect you from the Cold.
