Casual Layers

Shades of blue and grey always work well together, especially during winter. Try this casual layered look with the sleeves of a bright long sleeve top peeking out from under a shirtdress, and add a chunky knit for warmth. Pair with wide leg grey trousers worn long with ankle boots. A patterned pashmina adds interest to a neutral palette and work in a tan shoulder bag for an overall relaxed but up-to-date look:

Oversized shirtdress £42, Oasis; knit style cardigan £12, New Look; blue long sleeve top £7, Dorothy Perkins; Still ankle boot £80, Faith; tan plaited strap turn lock tote £34.25, Accessorize; multi-thread shimmer pashmina £9.99, Scarf World; Laila spot trousers £37.50.

I love the outfit, specially the boots! Those are really nice!

Though, I guess I wouldn't use so many layers, either... ^^

Greets! And happy new year ;)

Shirt dresses are adorable! I have one in gray that I love. They look good on most figure types and also pretty much all jeans types, from flare to wideleg to straight/skinny.

They also remind me of the blouses my mother wore in the '70s. I hope they keep this style around for a while.
