Satin Style

This outfit was inspired by some looks from Aydan Tesettür 2008. Satin is the fabric of choice for many Tesettür labels this season, and this beautiful cream mac fits the bill perfectly. It's also available in Oyster.

If you can't find (or don't like wearing) the usual square hijabs, then try this silky pashminetta, and layer a long, narrow silk scarf in between it. Finish off with a pair of bright pink gloves and an elegant clutch:

Petite cream satin mac £85, Principles; black boxy croc clutch £22, Miss Selfridge; black wide leg trousers £20, Dorothy Perkins; ivory silky pashminetta £15; pink patent bow gloves £15, both Debenhams; Cleala shoes £35, Faith.

You know, I'm really inspired by this look you've put together, even though I'm normally not a fan of such tailored styles. But this look rocks!

That cream satin tesettur jacket is really awesome ... has a sort of '70s vibe I think. Love the pleats and flap-pocket details below the beltline. Usually such jacket details are above the beltline and I think this is a much better alternative.
