Munich Street Style Hijabi

This beautiful hijabi was featured on the Munich street fashion blog, Styleclicker back in February 2007. I love the different shades of brown in her outfit, and the layers in her hijab, with the headband also picking up the pattern in her tunic. The large pendant is a nice touch too. I'd have a picked a longer tunic though, if I were to leave the trench open:

Get her look:

Trench coat £39, La Redoute; wrapover tunic £14, La Redoute; brown hijab £4.99, Islam Orient; gem pendant necklace £8, Accessorize; tan pocket tote £25, Accessorize; round toe pump £30, Barratts; wide leg jeans £30, Dorothy Perkins.

love the colours... and the outfit as a whole. with a smiple swap of her jeans to choc brown dress pants, or linen, could be very work friendly as well!

Khadijah, glad you like it! Dark brown shoes would go perfectly well too.

Basbousa, I love it too - you hardly every see everyday hijabis in regular fashion blogs.

Sayma, I would definitely wear this myself too!

Mais, exactly!

Anon, thank you so much, I'm glad you're enjoying it!

i like her style. i would wear the tunic the way it is as long as the trench covers the rear and the top covers the "crotch" area (LOL), so the whole thing is cool to me the way she is wearing it.

Great street style photo, I love the loose hijab over the al-amira. Might be good for sisters who come from a community that wear loose headscarves so they can keep that style while doing proper hijab. You could wear a denim skirt or trouser jeans to make this style more modest.

how did she wear her hijab like this? i noticed she has several headbands underneath. I usually wear plain head bonnets to tuck the hair, but wearing nice headband like above, slip off my head... i cant hold it in place, but wld love to waer them. HnM and various western shops sell them but how an earth can we wear it?
