Designer Hijab Style 3

The third and final installment sees all manner of weird and wonderful outfits for Spring 2008. Alexander McQueen and Dries Van Noten went for citrus brights and floral prints, both of which are big trends this season. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Nina Ricci's dramatic black gown is surprisingly abaya-esque, and even comes with a little net veil.

Prada's quirky skirt suit can be easily adapted into something more wearable for everyday. However I can't help but think MaxMara was inspired by some Muslim brothers you often find outside the Masjid...not sure if that's a look for the ladies!

I like the peacock tulle party dress Alexander Mc Queen did (all designers were on a royalty theme I noticed) but I can't figure out how to wear it out. It looks dorky with an abaya.

The skirt is too full to wear something on top, and pants under look silly so..... I thought of wearing a cropped box jacket ontop and another long puff ball skirt underneath, just to reach my destination, but I couldn't think of anything else. But I love it! With fuschia pink heels? Mmmmmm!
