Aab Clothing

Aab is a new Islamic clothing website that sells high quality abayas for occasional or everyday use. Here's what they say:

Aab was born out of a desire to create feminine garments derived from natural fabrics for all occasions.

Bearing in mind that beauty and gracefulness are qualities that are espoused in Islam, Aab set out from the beginning to create garments and accessories that take into account the simplicity, style and comfort desired by the Muslim woman who finds herself playing multiple roles in today’s society

Aab constantly strives to enable the Muslim woman to observe her deen with dignity and confidence. Hence all Aab garments are easily distinguished by their high quality tailoring and use of natural fabrics. Our relentless focus on the finest details results in every individual garment truly embodying the Aab spirit of beauty and gracefulness.

Aab garments and accessories can be purchased via our online boutique at
http://www.aabuk.com/, where we hope that you will find a simple and easy to use order process that will enable you to savour your very own personalised Aab experience.

These are my personal favourites from the website. I think they would make beautiful bridal abayas:

Baaraka Allah feeky for the link! I just went through their collections, and I must say I really liked their style - beautifully modest and elegant. Made me wish (once again) I lived in the UK. It's like you can find anything hijab-related you might ever need there.

Those pictures also reminded me of this little question I've had in my mind for a while now: can a mohajaba wear both abayas and "normal" clothes (i.e. tunics + skirts/trousers)? Or is it kind of unrecommended to switch between the two?

I'd be very thankful, if someone could answer this silly question (:

Fe aman Allah.

pink_marshmallow, you're welcome!

mushu, I know several women who do switch between abaya and non-abaya, but obviously their non-abaya clothes are still very modest, so no skinny jeans or whatnot. I don't think there's anything wrong with it.. as long as both conform to the standards of dress required.

I wear both: I believe jilbab is fard but y jilbab may not be my madrassa's jilbab LOL. I have some very cute trousers and skirts with almost knee length coats, and if I don't have a coat I wear a skirt but I think it looks fab.

It does weird people out though if go between niqab and no niqab. I do this, but I really don't care what people think. When I wear niqab it is between me and Allah, not to hide myself, but to free myself. I don't want to wear it as a rule, but I prefer it sometimes.
