Sleeve Solution

Many of you might already be using these, but for everyone else, here's a really handy solution to 3/4 sleeved tops: forearm sleeves! These are especially good for summer, as you can slip these on easily instead of having to wear another long sleeved top underneath your clothes. MuslimBase stocks 16 different colours:

salam, you know my only issue with these is that you only ever find one type in the west. The polyester ones with the lace frill on the bottom and its irritating. My friend gets cotton ones from egypt that are apparently really cheap and in all the colours of the rainbow. Maybe when I visit one day insha'allah, Ill stock up :D

Assalamu alaikom,
Ooh, you can get the cotton ones in Dearborn, Michigan, at Boutique Fayrouz on Schaefer (as of this past summer, anyway)...

I find personally that the 3/4 sleeve + undersleeve look is not as attractive on overweight people as it is on thin people. IMHO, only.

Sallam allaykum, I use sleeves a lot, especially when the sleeves of my shirts are a little too tight in lenth or when they are too wide. Also, it is usefull to pray. I have found some sleeves that are longer and that are made in egyptian cotton. Apparently they still hold well in place, wich is a struggle with the classic polyester sleeves. You can find them here: http://www.al-muminat.com/hijab-accessories-c-22.html No, I don't work for them, but I just ordered some cotton sleeves, so I will tell you how they are, incha Allah

Sorry, I just read that this site was already mentionned! But they have also a new kind, made of a mix of cotton and lycra. Is somebody ever tried it? I think they look good, but I am afraid they are too hot in summer.

Assalamu alaykum!
i've those sleeves too; mine are too in cotton and are full sleeves (longer than those in the picture); i've bought them form hijabstoreonline.com; i really like this site; sleeves are 100% cotton, come in a lot of colours, are cheap and shipping costs too!!!

(sorry for my bad english..)
