Women in Turkey have a very distinctive hijab style. Brightly coloured square hijabs, made from polyester or silk, are folded into a triangle shape, pinned underneath the chin, then wrapped in various styles. A bonnet cap is also worn underneath. Click on each picture to see more:

I find that
Tie Rack is the best place to find beautiful square scarves. Also click to see more square scarves at
Hijab Heaven,
Simply Islam,
Hijab Store Online and
Muslimah Essentials. You can also find satin front bonnet caps at
Muslim Base.

You're welcome! Yes those scarves are just gorgeous :)
how do they get the scarf to sit so high at the back of the head?

What they do is wrap their hair in a bun or ponytail really high on their heads.

Slm,
I've tried so many styles of Turkish hijaab. Silk is too fragile yet too expensive, and I prefer Turkish Sateen hijab which looks similar like the silk ones, but softer and easier to wear. I always shop at AyzaGursoy.Com Hijab Store for the Orkide sateens. Reasonable price and it ships worldwide.
here's the link http://ayzagursoy.com/ocart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2
