Shepherd's Bush Market

For those of you living in or visiting central London, Shepherd's Bush Market is a great place to buy hijabs! There are many stalls to browse, and they stock all types of scarves and related accessories including bonnet caps, hijab pins, headbands, etc. Most hijabs cost around £3-£4, and pretty much all styles are available - square, shayla, kuwaiti, Al-amirah, etc. You'll also find other stalls selling pretty much anything you can think of: fruits and vegetables, fabric, household goods, clothing and accessories. Well worth a visit if you are around that area!

Do: haggle! Most sellers will reduce their prices, especially if you are buying several items.

Don't: be pressurised into buying something you don't like, look at different stalls and see if they have something better.

The nearest tube station is Shepherd's Bush (Hammersmith and City Line), or Goldhawk Road, which will bring you to the other end of the market. You can also use the Shepherd's Bush (Central Line) station, but this means you'll have to walk about 10 minutes.
